It's not just about flexibility.....
Yoga is great for building flexibility, but there is so much more.
Practising yoga you will also build strength, core stability and balance. Movement will become easier and more natural. You will feel more comfortable in your own body.
Plus, studies have consistently shown that yoga is fantastic for your mental health and wellbeing. The integration of movement with mindfulness, breathing exercises and relaxation is a powerful combination. Many students report feeling less stressed, better sleep and increased confidence.
You don't have to be fit or flexible to get started. Come as you are and we will build from there. In class I offer lots of options so you can dial up or dial down your experience as needed.
The best time to start is now!
This is a slow class of passive, supported stretches designed to reach the deeper tissues of the body. With mindfulness weaved in, this one will leave your nervous system soothed and you deeply relaxed.
Yin Yoga is the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:30pm. Classes coming up:
